Abstract: The precipitate with the microstructure of Y(OH)3 coating Al(OH)3 was obtained through keeping constant pH value in the co-precipitation processing, and pure YAG phase can be prepared after calcination precipite at 900℃. The special surface area of YAG powder became smaller with the increment of Y, Al solution concentration and pH value controlled during the titration. Nanoscaled YAG powder with the size of 20-30 nm and special surface area of 68m2/g can be prepared by the co-precipitation method.
