Abstract: Nano-ZnFe2O4 was prepared by a liquid catalytic phase transformation methed at lower temperatures. In this new method ZnSO4-7H2O and FeCl3·6H2O were used as raw materials and trace FeSO4 as the catalyst. When the beginning concentration of the reaction system reached 1.2mol.L-1, the particle sizes were less than 20 nm. All kinds of characteristics of the products were studied. The densities and specific surface areas were determined respectively.
