Abstract

Abstract: Nano-ZnFe₂O₄ was prepared by a liquid catalytic phase transformation methed at lower temperatures. In this new method ZnSO₄-7H₂O and FeCl_3^·6H₂O were used as raw materials and trace FeSO₄ as the catalyst. When the beginning concentration of the reaction system reached 1.2mol^.L^-1, the particle sizes were less than 20 nm. All kinds of characteristics of the products were studied. The densities and specific surface areas were determined respectively.
