Preparation and Characterization of Layered Compound of Na₃Sb₃P₂O₁₄

Abstract

Abstract: A new compound, NA₃Sb₃P₂O₁₄, was first synthesized by microwave and conventional synthetic methods. The same product can be obtained from two kinds of reacting substances and in different reaction conditions. The material was characterized by XRD, IR, SEM and characterization program. The compound is tetragonal with a=3.6424(5)A, c=5.9488A, and has a layered structure with an interlayer space of 5.95A.
