Abstract: Nanoscale α-Al2O3 powders were prepared by the polyacrylamide gel method. Because polymer-network inhibits the aggregate of Al2O3, nanoscale α-Al2O3 powders with about 10 nm size can be obtained. Its calcination temperature is 1100℃, which is 100℃ lower than general calcination temperature.
