Advances of Ultrahigh Temperature Ceramics Derived from Organosilicon-Polymer

Abstract: This paper reviewed the history of ultrahigh-temperature structural ceramics derived from organosilicon-polymer. The advances of processes and material properties were included. The fibers of SiC, Si3N4 and the films of SiC, SiO2, Si3N4 were industrialized. Some materials which could be used at 2000℃ were discovered. The development trends were proposed
