Abstract: Mixed ionic electronic conductor La0.6Sr0.4Co0.2Fe0.8O3-δ in the porous form can be used as cathodes for solid oxide fuel cells and
supports for thin oxygen separation membranes. La0.6Sr0.4Co0.2Fe0.8O3-δ porous ceramics were prepared by solid state reaction. The porosity and
pore size were investigated as a function of sintering temperature, molding pressure and amount of organic additive. The experimental results show
that with increasing porosity, its nitrogen permeability increases, but its electrical conductivity decreases as described by σ=σ0·(1-P)3.1.
