Preparation of PZT95/5 Nano-powders with Modified Sol-Gel Method

Abstract

Abstract: PbZr_0.95Ti_0.05O₃ nano-powders were synthesized with a modified sol-gel method at low calcining temperatures. Pb(CH₃COO)₂·3H₂O, Zr(NO₃)₄·5H₂O and Ti(C₄H₉O)₄ were used as parent reagents. The sol-gel method was modified by cutting down certain procedures and calcining wet gel in a proper heating sequence. XRD and TEM testy show that the PZT nano-particles are ultrafine and uniform, their diameters are around 10 nanometers.
