Artificial Neural Networks and Genetic Algorithm Used to Optimize Process Parameters of Reaction-sintered ZrO2-SiC(p) Ceramics

Abstract: The effects of reaction-sintering temperature and time, forming pressure, carbon black contentand Fe powder content on in-situ SiC powder content in reaction-sintered ZrO2-SiC(p) ceramicswere studied by using artificial neural networks. The optimum process parameters were optimizedwith genetic algorithm.
