Abstract:

PAANH4 was used as dispersant to improve the dispersibility of particles. The velocity and angle of the impinging streams were investigated to obtain the optimum conditions. Ultrafine barium sulfate particles were prepared in the impinging streams microreactor. The ultrafine particles were characterized by XRD, TEM, and BET. The results indicate that micromixing and homogeneous supersaturation of the reaction are enhanced by impinging streams. The product is obtained as particles with mean size of 100nm and specific surface area of 60mg-1.
