Nd3+ Doped Tetraphosphate Glass for Microchip Laser

摘要: 制备了Nd3+掺杂四磷酸盐玻璃,测量了吸收光谱、荧光光谱,计算Nd3+的发射截面,研究了其荧光特性、浓度猝灭及其机制、以及OH基对荧光强度和能量传递的影响,研究发现在四磷酸盐玻璃 Nd3+的最佳浓度约为 4.1×1020 ions/cm,在研究光谱性质的基础上实现了Nd3+掺杂四磷酸盐玻璃微片激光器1.054μm的连续激光输出.

Abstract: The tetraphosphate glass with various Nd3+ dopant was prepared. The absorption and fluorescence emission spectra were measured, and the emission cross section for 4F3/24 I11/2 transition of Nd3+ was calculated. Spectroscopic properties, concentration quenching, and the effect of -OH groups on the emission at 1.054μm in these kinds of the glass were investigated with diode laser at 800nm. The optimization of Nd3+ ion concentrations was 4.1×l020 ions/cm3. A room-temperature LiNd0.1La0.9P4O12 microchip laser operating at 1.054μm pumped by an AlGaAs diode laser operating at 800nm was realized.
